To trust in Thee, O Lord, takes patience and endurance,
We try to solve life’s problems and find there’s no assurance.
Give them all to Me, God says, in all His word today,
Nary jot, nor tittle can ever pass away.
Prayers will never go unanswered, when your heart is sincere,
Every tear and every prayer, to Me, is very dear.
Just trust in Me, God says, and don’t forget to pray,
I’ve bottled up all of your tears, and set you “free” today.
